Yesterday was a no good very bad day

Yesterday was Day #1 after chemo which is the worst day. It also happened to fall on the day I was scheduled to take my monthly Boniva. Based on my previous two months I knew the Boniva would make me feel nauseated. I thought well, might as well get all of it out of the way on the same day and just be ick for one day and then move on.

This was a mistake. I was DOWN for the day. I was so nauseated all day and ended up taking a nap, during which I had a dream that someone stole my car, and then just stayed in bed until this morning.

I feel 900% better today. I woke up at 3am thinking about getting up and eating breakfast. Instead I am happily drinking my breakfast.

My husband took the day off work and we were going to go to the zoo nice and early this morning but the air is so bad we cannot. I do feel rather trapped.

Apple TV – extrapolation now seems like quite the prophetic show for this summer.

You know what else is prophetic? A few weeks ago I bought new air cleaner filters for my air cleaner and on a whim bought another air cleaner because it was on sale and I had a coupon and there was a discount code so it was ridiculously hard to pass up. I have been running them all nonstop for the last couple of days and we do not seem to be having too many problems as long as we stay in the house.

I am going out this evening to meet some lovely people for tea.

I am also ripping out weeks worth of work on a sweater because I just hate it.

Yesterday I watched Season 2 of The Bear. The Christmas episode took me hours because I had to keep taking breaks. Chaos.

  1. The Christmas episode was so hard and triggering to watch. The special guest did a fantastic job. I didn’t recognize them at first.

The next episode about Richie made up for all the ickiness of the Christmas episode. The guest star on that episode was wonderful, too.

I’m sorry you had such a bad day. Hugs.

We are not loving the smoke either.

    1. The Richie episode was so good!
