Just Stuff

It has been a tough last five days. I am not going to rehash it all, today will be better.

Yesterday I got hit with what will from this day forward be known as the Kadcyla fever. I went from just feeling a little fatigued after Thursday’s chemo to 3:00 pm fever. I just could not move. My eyes were on fire and my feet were ice cold.So I went to bed at 3 and I am still there (9am). I will be getting up though. I have a drs appointment this afternoon, just an oncology checkup. It will be laughable if I cannot see my Dr because they won’t let me in the building with my fever, that they gave me. Not much to talk about anyway, my CT looks good. 🙂

I spent a lot of last night and this morning starting a new podcast, listening-not recording. It is called Relative Unknown and it was unexpectedly fascinating. I am not going to tell you what it is about because they sort of roll that out slowly. It is a true story.

I want to talk about words but I do not know if I am coherent enough. I have a friend named MB. MB and I met on the internet a gazillion years ago and one of the things that I always love about her is that she always hears my intent behind my words without adding anything extra. I really do not think bad things about people that often, And I certainly do not say negative things to people. You know how I know I do not say negative things to people ? Go back three sentences. I am not thinking it, so I know I am not saying it. For some reason people like to add tell you what you actually meant.

Speaking so much in print makes it more likely that people will misunderstand, they cannot see your sincerity or hear your inflection. It does tell me a lot more about the people who take things negatively when no negativity was sent.

I might have to get up and get a cup of coffee. I can’t remember the last time I ate. Thankfully I have gained 20 lbs in the last year so I think I will survive.

OH! My experimental golf club cover actually fits on a golf club! man. I would like to make another one applying the lessons learned. No flowers this time. I need another project with flowers though. That was fun, especially adding buttons to the middle. I need to start hitting estate sales and see if I can find some old collection of buttons. I would love old glass and metal buttons to use.

So sorry you are not feeling well! And sorry the last several days have been so rough. I personally think everything feels so much worse for me right now because I am just a bunch of raw edges from current circumstances of the world anyway.

I am glad your golf cover fits! I think the things you come up with are amazing – seriously…AMAZING.
