Sunday

I have stuff to do next week!!! What??? I have the Vet on Monday for the beagle and the cat, so that’s always exciting. Everyone is getting shots.

Work on Tuesday. I am only working one day a month now, it was something I needed to do. Can you believe it’s been two years? Time moves so very quickly.

Okay, that’s really all I have to do.

I finished the last crochet project for my ex-neighbor, current friend, which was a super hero doll for her Grandson. I love the pattern I found. I was a little nervous because I had never made a male doll before but I was pretty happy with how he came out.

This is my current crochet list of to-do’s.

1. Three Mermaids -for which I will use my Danish yarn that I just love. The colors are just so pretty and unique and sparkly and the yarn is soft.

2. A dinosaur – for which I think I’ll buy some new variegated yarn. I liked the way that looked.

3. Five mini dolls for a family of many little girls. I’m looking forward to that. I’ve only made one of them before so it will be nice to practice and get quicker.

4. Look for Panda and Penguin patterns.

Someone posted this the other day on Facebook in a crochet group – that was in the midst of a race and language war because everyone discovered the moderators were gone – just after I was asked about a panda and it made me laugh. I wonder if sparkly black yarn would be easier?

EDIT – 5 – Make Katie a SuperHero Cancer Fighter Woman doll

I have at least started charging people so I am not losing money on the yarn, except for anything that I am experimenting on, those I just like to get rid of but I don’t want to throw them away! I mean I really don’t need a whole bunch of mistake ridden projects sitting in a corner!

I have a book to read but it’s translated from Spanish and the language is so stilted that it makes it difficult to read. Perhaps in year 2 of the pandemic I’ll learn to read Spanish.

Okay – there’s your Sunday ketchup.

I just woke up…wasn’t able to go to sleep….I drink hot water to keep my throat open and clear so it doesn’t fatigue and shut down while I take prayer calls….last night I was running hot water through my Keurig and mindlessly drinking cup after cup when I realized that with this many cups of hit water, the water should not still have a hint of coffee taste….walla….I forgot to take the coffee pod out and had been running my hot water through it a good part of the night. two Thoughts here…how could I possibly not realize it sooner and am I losing all sense of reality?

Oh No! That’s a lot of caffeine! You are not losing reality, weak coffee is just water with color and caffeine!
