August

Garbage

August has been the month of Doctors and ickness. My every three weeks bloodwork in the last year or so has been slowly but surely dropping my red blood cell count, and honestly one does need redblood cells!

So august was let’s figure it out month (we didn’t really) but instead we found a bunch of smaller issues, anything that is not cancer spreading is considered a smaller issue this point. Mostly just a handful ulcers and and digestive systems damage. Which is no surprise honestly. I am missing the #1 symptom for the high ulcer, any type of heartburn or such.

Of course I am now on acid blockers Histamine blockers (H2 Antogonist) not PPI, I had a terrible headache on the PPI, and the doctor said take them till it’s healed. Ummm,, yeah but how will I know if it is healed, see above, no symptom! The answer, “I do not know” cool. So 8 weeks – wean myself off and cross my fingers.

AND THEN my after chemo fever never went away and yesterday it just spiked the fuck up! So I think I may actually have some sort of little bug. today is now a rest day. Fluids, Tylenol, and trash TV. FFS

I have been listening to The Lord of the Rings audiobook. It is very detailed.

Alien: Earth ? I watched the first three episodes yesterday and will watch #4 today. I liked it. They need to take down he stylization a notch, images superimposed over other images really does not help the story.

I have been drinking this lately – https://www.vitacost.com/simple-truth-herbal-tea-cold-water-infusion Throw a little stevia in a big jar, throw a bad and water in and let it still till I want to drink it. Very nice amount of flavor in my 22oz jar.

I have a lemon peach as well but it is not as nice.

All Caught up!

    Well, that sounds just awful!

Even the “little stuff”, ugh. I have had to take that stuff for ulcers. Every once in a while I have problems and I always have to take the stuff twice as long as I think. The worst part is that it always takes me a while to be fully aware of what’s wrong and by that time it is harder to kick.

Be careful because apparently there are stomach bugs going around. I have been dealing with my own delightful little episode since Friday night/Saturday morning; fever, headache, awful stomach cramps, intestinal issues, etc. Much better but still…icky.

Hope all of that stuff clears up quickly for you and the blood cells get themselves under control!!!

It never seems fair to me to have to deal with more than one health issue at a time but it always seems to be heaped on. 😖

You have probably seen all the stuff that is worth watching out there. What about “Professor T”? I wish I had a bigger list of diversions.

    1. I think this is some sort of bug but I feel better than yesterday so YAY I have got the whole cold nose, cold fingers thing on which almost means. Virus for me. I hope you feel better quickly, terrible time of year to be sick as the weather is changing. My sister got hit with it really hard a couple of weeks ago.

I have never even heard of Professor T. It looks like my kind of show. Exciting!

  2. So many typos in that post!

  3. To both Tracy and Susan — I hope you both feel much better very soon!
