Where is the moment we needed the most? You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost.

I had a bad day yesterday. I am not sure what happened. I just crashed. Lost all energy, couldn’t think, couldn’t focus, couldn’t sit up.
The only thing I can think is that usually the days after chemo I really take it easy and this time I had things to do every day. Nothing major, nothing big but I did not follow my normal schedule. I did not eat enough or drink enough and I think it all just came crashing down. I have spent today just eating and drinking and trying to turn back into a human. I feel hungover of all things. Fuzzy and out of sorts.

On Monday I had this much left to do on ribbing;

and I just could not do it! I finally got it this afternoon.

It is now happily pinned to some foam and will dry for a day or so before we go to the next step of making sleeves and more ribbing!
Sure looks a different color soaking wet and in a room with warm light! On my screen the top one is the more accurate color.

If any part of you is saying, hmmmm Tracy is it supposed to have more rows of ribbing on the top than the bottom? I answer to you MIND YOUR BUSINESS! 👩‍💼 I might make this again with some inexpensive thicker yarn because I think it would be a nice easy to throw on shawl. And with different yarn I would not have to worry about it being so easily snagged by a long nailed beagle who likes to hit.

On Monday a lovely woman walked up behind me and touched me on the shoulder and asked if I had made the sweater I was wearing. I said yes and she said it was very nice and she liked it. Despite all the memes about Midwesterner’s I am happy to say my only response was “Thank You” I did not go into a litany of all the things wrong with it. 🙂

Voted today. Long line out the door I am happy to say. They also were fully staffed with poll workers so it went quickly and easily.

Last night I dreamt that I was 81 years old and was being arrested for killing someone. It was very graphic filled with smells and sounds, oh and a beheading. I have no idea what to make of that one.

My Swiss cheese monstera seems to have survived my repotting drama so that makes me happy.

All caught up.

    I guess your body says, take it easy right away or I will MAKE you take it easy! Glad your are feeling more the thing.

    I have never pinned a crochet piece! Really, I need to expand my crochet skills. Someday.

    Not sure if it’s going to reach you but we are looking at a little warm-up over the weekend and I am ready! Hope it stretches up there, too!

    1. I usually use a big old piece of cardboard for blocking something but this yarn is so absorbent I figured the cardboard wouldn’t be too smart. After this is will just get hung dry if it gets washed. It is fun to see the stitches all even out.
      I will take all the warm weather you want to push towards us!
