Why this popped into my head this morning I do not know.
I wonder if Elliot Page while aware of their gender misassignment (?) found it more difficult or easier to be an actor?
Would playing a pregnant teenager in Juno have allowed Elliot to be able to drop into the part of acting that creates a new person or would it have felt even worse to be acting as a pregnant female while at the time feeling like you were in the wrong gender?
Would acting allow you the freedom to be who you are while playing other “roles” or make life feel more restrictive because you were cast as the incorrect gender?
