Atychiphobia

Fear of Painting your Bathroom

My bathroom is very small. It will take me an hour to correctly tape & retape. It will take me two hours to paint if I am slow and careful. I have had paint colors in there for a week. I am procrastinating.

None of these are the colors I will use I think. I just enjoyed playing with the filter.I like the darkest color but I think I will go back to the bright blue.

I am anxious that it will not look nice. Every wall in our condo was repainted right before we moved in, so every wall is the same color. We have repainted one room, the same color. What if repainting makes it terrible? What if I do it all and I hate it? No….what if I MESS IT UP! That is the real fear.

Edit: I bought paint! I bought the one I really wanted instead of the safer color. So Top left of the paint cards is closest. It’s called blueberry!

‘m a fan of blue bathrooms I recently painted my white ceilings white. It was the most unsatisfying paint job I’ve ever done. A lot of work for no change. Haha. They did need it though.

I have a firm rule that I will never ever EVER PAINT A CEILING AGAIN!
