A Fountain

I overflow with leaves that are slowly deteriorating

I took care of a few chores today so now I am reading. I have been slowly reading a scary book. Slowly because I just was not finding the right circumstances to read.

When I read I do not listen to music. I like to immerse myself in a book and I find music pulls me out.

The other day Corey and I were sitting in the living room and there was a very loud banging crash from somewhere towards the front door. I of course said, as one does, what was that‽ Corey said oh probably just Frank knocking something. Except all three animals were in the room with us. I got up and looked and my purse was in the middle of the hallway. Good thing I am not reading a scary book this week, right?

The whole aFIB thing has been terrible this past week.Seems to related to the terrible air quality currently. I have all three of my air cleaners running full blast during the day and I ordered new filters. I spent some time trying to logic out why pollutants would trigger afib and I have to assume it is an oxygen reaction, right? My lungs are a little wonky, go figure, and so this makes sense to me. I read on a cardiologist site about mild cardio exercise being a solution for some people during an afib episode. So, I am trying to make sure my respiration rate does not drop too low as it usually does in the evening since most of my afib issues occur after 7pm.

If I could choose to go back on my chemo meds and all their side effects or have afib I think I would choose chemo. At least with chemo I knew when and what was going to happen.

Going out for a nice dinner tonight. 🙂

Shot in my butt tomorrow.

Oncologist Thursday.

This will be a baby blanket soon. A couple of more inches around. The pattern is called Six DAY star baby blanket. I can only assume they do not actually know what the word day means and meant weeks.

Peace be with you my friends. Resist the hate and the grouping together of people in labels that are too black and white.

  1. Hi. Are you using an inhaler at all? I’ve had to use my inhaler due to the smoke. It makes it easier for me to breath. Are you have breathing problems? Maybe if you are and you use an inhaler and you breathe easier maybe that would be less afib?

Did you go out for that nice dinner? What did you have?

      Good Morning my friend!
I have gone back on my inhaler (symbicort – my dr will be so happy) and it is helping quite a bit. I am working on deeper breathing which will hopefully keep my respiration rate a little higher. Funny how important breathing is! I have not had a prolonged aFIB episode since last week, so go me!

Dinner was very nice. My friend went to the wrong restaurant which made me laugh because it is the 2nd time it has happened to us! i had a lovely cauliflower steak with a crazy good chimmichuri sauce on it.
