To sleep

Perchance to panic

This morning as I was pondering the potential for a plentitude of sleep at some point in the near future I thought about my sleep doctor and really dug into my reaction to figure out why I did not like him.

  1. He spent most of the appointment never looking at me and looked like he was reciting by rote
  2. He said something along the lines of so when you wake up in the middle of the night do you just lay there feeling anxiety” I said no, but apparently he did not believe me because he said if I tested positive for sleep apnea CBT would probably be recommended. It did not seem to have occurred to him that mine might be obstructive apnea and that was in general a happy person!

Showed him didn’t I!

It is so frustrating when they don’t listen. You have been in your body 62 years, he has met you for 3 minutes.
