Post Surgical ADHD?
- I cannot concentrate on anything for more than a couple of minutes. It has been this way since initial surgery. I hope it goes away soon
2. Why does the Voice to Text on my iPad no longer work? (Not a permissions issue)
3. I should have a medic alert bracelet that just says HEALS SLOWLY! I think it is a chemo thing
4. I must be at the tail end of healing because I am back on the Ambien now!
5. I dislike it when books keep referencing a main characters deep dark secret past and then use it three quarters of the way through the book. Not realistic human behavior
6. I cannot believe how much better my digestive system feels, if it was not for the whole heart thing I think I would have been healed and wandering the city five days ago!
7. My brain will not let me think too much about the heart thing, I think it is just the thought of another surgery and hospital stay
8. I think I am in love with my surgeon. She is smart and accomplished, and exudes power while still being kind and easy and getting the job done. I want to be her.
9. Standing is now a four stage process due to the meds. Sit up very straight, prepare to stand. Count to 10. Stand up slowly, count to fifteen. Take a step, count to fifteen. Try walking.
10. Yesterday I was on the phone making a doctors appointment – SURPRISE – and I forgot steps two and three when I walked into the kitchen to look at calendar and Ka-bam! Down I start to go. It made me laugh because if you are going to do that, be on the phone with the drs office that prescribed the meds. I just said, give me fifteen seconds, and you could hear her smile when she said, it is okay, just got to take it easy.
11. I wonder if that one spot will ever stop hurting when I breathe?

I suggest everyone have my daughter come to their hospital room and felt them a pet. It was a great ice breaker with all of the workers who came in!
