And Nonsense
Remember when I use to write everyday? Nah, me neither.
Looking forward to warm weather for more than three days in a row. Everything just seems nicer when you can sit outside with a cup of tea.
I do most of my reading on my iPad mini which is quite old and has had a cracked screen for years. Lately I am having trouble getting more than a couple of hours of battery life out of it so after three days of waffling * my husband bought me a Kindle Paperwhite. I did not realize how difficult the glossy screen of an iPad makes reading until suddenly it was no longer an issue. I truly thought it was my eyes just being old and cataract filled. They are much less tired now.
Cancer wise it is all status quo. This is my month for testing, so echo is done and CT next week. CTs are much easier, though probably less accurate, since I developed a sudden allergic reaction to the redi-cat.
I have tendinitis in my rotator cuff of my right shoulder. I will start PT this week. This morning I looked up whether it can heal itself and the results were depressing. It is very painful. It is also annoying because the info for taking care of it is stretching, exercise and resting. My brain does not understand not using my shoulder but at the same time working it.
Auto correct struck again on my Drs notes and according to that I also have tinnitus in my rotator cuff. So if you hear my shoulder ringing you know why.
Animals are all fine, Dusty is currently staring at me balefully.

Do you ever feel like life is just kind of winding down? I was thinking the other day that I need to replace a pair of jeans and my very next thought was probably the last pair I will buy. WTF‽ How depressing is that thought? I had a bad nights sleep last night so I will chalk it up to that. Well, and the gradual destruction of our democracy and compassion for others that is currently happening.
Family is also all status quo I think. Everyone busy doing their own things.
I have been on a coconut milk yoghurt making odyssey. I switched from using tapioca start to thicken it to Agar Agar and the first batch I made was a beautiful gummy bear texture. Not exactly what you’re looking for in a breakfast yoghurt! The next batch came out too thin. It is such a touchy touchy thing.
Okay – off I go.
