I’ve put away the crochet for a half hour to write. It has the same effect. 🙂
When I open the door to the frog tank I inhale deeply. That super rich warm smell immediately transports me to a warm greenhouse or a botanical garden. I have been to quite a few different lovely gardens encased in glass and they all just make me feel good. It smells so lovely.
I like the smell of onions, until the second they get old. Then they must go. I especially love the smell of frying onions, bonus smell if they’re mixed in with frying potatoes.
I don’t particularly like the smell of roses except for a moment and I dislike the smell of lilacs, I love the smell of calendula and of begonias. The smell of tomato leaves.
I dislike the smell of cheese, but it tastes so lovely.
I love the smell of celery, and some peppers but not all.
I use to like the smell of rubbing alcohol but now it makes me nauseated just thinking about it.
Cinnamon, is there anything better than a naturally scented cinnamon candle?
The smell of a fresh pack of coffee, that very first rush of scent that comes out. Same for a fresh jar of peanut butter.
Vicks! How can you not like the smell of vicks, or wintergreen lifesavers.
The Ocean. That’s a beautiful smell.
Lavender growing in the yard. Dandelions. Fresh cut grass. The smell of rain about to start falling. What’s the name for that Katy?
Whiskey, smells so much better than it tastes, as does gin.
